Climate and best time to travel
Although Ireland is not exactly known for its high temperatures and many hours of sunshine, the Gulf Stream brings a mild climate to Ireland. While the temperature climbs up to 20°C in July, the months of May and June have the most hours of sunshine for a Golf trip to Ireland ready.

Arrival
With Edelweiss you can fly to Cork in just over 2 hours twice a week from the beginning of April to the end of September. Swiss flies directly to Dublin every day.

Entry
A valid ID is sufficient for entry into the Republic of Ireland.

ATTENTION: since 2021 and due to Brexit, a valid passport is mandatory for entry to Northern Ireland.

From April 2, 2025 visitors from European countries also require an electronic travel authorization (ETA). This can be viewed from March 5, 2025 on the "UK ETA App" or at GOV.UK can be applied for. An ETA costs £10 per application, allows multiple trips and is valid for two years or until the holder's passport expires.

On the road
Golf round trips in Ireland are offered with transfers as well as self-drive in a rental car to the same extent, whereby it should not be forgotten that here, as in England, driving is on the left. Border crossings are unproblematic.
